At the final match of a brilliant season, the Girls Varsity Lacrosse team remained undefeated in the SENE league and closed with a 15-4 defeat of the second place team, Moses Brown. Contributing to the victory were:

Audrey Nebergall with 4 goals and 1 assist
Perry Markell with 4 goals and 1 assist
Kendall Harty with 2 goals and 1 assist
Georgia Markell with 2 goals
Maggie Moran with 1 goal and 2 assists
Steph Perez with 1 goal and 1 assist
Emily Kerwin with 1 goal
Katie Coaty with 10 saves in goal
 
Alex Leonard and Liz Bergman did a great job on defense, the entire team worked together - as they have all season - to finalize the victory and remain undefeated in the SENE. Coach Becky Swissler summed up the experience,  "...a fantastic group of girls, a fantastic season, and a fantastic ending to it all. Congratulations girls!"

The Portsmouth Abbey School Girls' Lacrosse Team, as well as the Boys' Lacrosse Team, is ranked number one in Rhode Island. In addition, an extraordinary number of Portsmouth Abbey players have received SENE All-League recognition for the Girls' Varsity Lacrosse season. They are:
