This course is designed for the student who has completed at least two years of Spanish. This course emphasizes the four communicative skills of listening, reading, speaking, and writing in a culturally authentic context. The development of advanced vocabulary, reading comprehension, speaking, and writing skills are stressed. Reading selections from famous Spanish and Latin America literature are included to give the student a deeper insight into Hispanic civilizations and the culture of Spanish-speaking people. Upon completion of the course, students may wish to take the SAT II in Spanish.
