Spanish 4

This course concentrates on intensive and advanced study of Hispanic literature and history. Students learn about Spanish and Latin American culture through in-depth research projects and presentations on important historical figures, events and places. A heavy emphasis is placed on oral communication through class discussion and debate. Students are required to form and express their opinions through reaction papers and class discussion. Current events are scrutinized whenever possible. Students also enhance their grammar skills through grammar review and composition essays. Listening comprehension is practiced daily since this course is conducted entirely in Spanish.
