French 4
This course focuses on intensive study of French grammar and literature. Students begin with a concentrated review of grammar and learn to read more carefully for comprehension through their reader and Edmond Rostand’s Cyrano de Bergerac. Francophone culture is researched and discussed by students by reading newspapers and magazines from francophone countries around the world. An equal emphasis is placed on aural skills – both speaking and oral comprehension that is practiced through classroom discussions. The class is conducted entirely in French.
