Algebra I
The field properties of the real numbers are used throughout the development of this course. Within this framework, Algebra I includes the study of polynomials, equations and inequalities, linear functions, systems of equations, factoring and fractions, exponents and radicals, general quadratic equations and quadratic functions. Applications are explored by creating mathematical models of phenomena in the real world.
