Physics (AP-C)
This is an advanced course in classical mechanics and electromagnetism. Mechanics is studied using full 3 dimensional vectors and includes rotational as well as translational motion. Maxwell's Equations in integral form are applied to the study of electromagnetism. A previous physics course is a prerequisite. Calculus is used at a level appropriate for students concurrently taking an introductory calculus course. A student not yet in calculus who is willing to learn the basic principles of calculus may take this course after obtaining approval from both the Mathematics and Science Department Heads.
