Dom Julian Stead has published a new book, entitled, Love-Ability: Becoming Lovable by Caring for Yourself and Others.
The book, co-authored by Madeline Pecora Nugent, provides advice on how to make more and better friends and how to be a more loving and lovable friend or partner. Topics include: responding to the needs of others; generating conversation; dealing with people who are hard to love; bringing shy individuals out of their shells; and tapping into your own personality strengths to overcome personal weaknesses.
R.A. Scotti, author of Basilica, says: "In Love-Ability, Dom Julian Stead and Madeline Pecora Nugent reflect on Christ's commandment to love one another from an original and personal perspective."
Fr. Julian has also written Saint Benedict: A Rule for Beginners, an anthology of the Rule of St. Benedict with commentary. His other works include There Shines Forth Christ, a compilation of his poetry, along with numerous articles on practical spirituality.
