On Friday, April 5, three recent Abbey graduates -- Kate Lyons '04, Nick Micheletti '04, and Ann Power '06 -- returned to campus to take part in a discussion with the Sixth Form about what lies ahead of them in their coming college years.  In this, our second year of offering this program to the Sixth Form, everyone enjoyed a spirited and light-hearted discussion, with the curious graduates-to-be peppering the recent graduates -- who attend Providence College, NYU and Fordham University, respectively -- with inquiries ranging from "the best time to pick a major" to "how best to balance your new-found liberty with your responsibilities in the classroom." Hopefully, the anecdotes and advice shared by the alums -- who just a few years ago were sitting in the same SLH seats as this year's Sixth Form -- helped diffuse some of the anxiety that necessarily accompanies heading off to college.
