Fall 2008 Athletics Wrap-Up
The Portsmouth Abbey community wrapped up the Fall 2008 athletics season with its Awards Assembly yesterday, with Athletic Director Al Brown congratulating and thanking varsity and JV players, coaches, managers and "behind-the-scenes" personnel - athletic department staff, trainers, and equipment room managers - for their level of commitment to the program.
Overall, Ravens teams posted successful seasons, with the Boys' and Girls' Cross-Country and Football squads turning in impressive records. Fifth Former Olivia Fay earned special recognition for her achievements in cross-country, earning League MVP honors for the second consecutive year, the first Portsmouth student-athlete to do so.
