Fifth Former Charlotte Papp has been crowned Miss Rhode Island Teen Queen as part of the National American Miss competition. Charlotte, a boarding student from Annisquam, Mass., recently met with Rhode Island Governor Donald Carcieri at the R.I. Statehouse shortly after being named Miss Rhode Island Teen Queen.
The National American Miss pageants are dedicated to celebrating America's greatness, encouraging its future leaders, and equipping them with valuable life skills. During her reign as Miss Rhode Island Teen Queen, Charlotte will work hard to be a positive role model for others and make a difference in her community.
Charlotte will compete later this month in Anaheim, Cal., against the other state titleholders for the National American Miss title.
Congratulations and good luck, Charlotte!
