Charitable support of Portsmouth Abbey includes three types of giving that together provide the foundation for the school's ability to manage its budget in the short term and plan for the future. The ANNUAL FUND GIFT provides unrestricted support for current operations. Total support from the Annual Fund amounts to approximately 8% of the School's $11 million operating budget. PLANNED GIFTS benefit Portsmouth at some future point in time. While there are many types of planned gifts, each allow you to make a meaningful gift while attaining other key personal financial goals. Finally, CAPITAL GIFTS represent donations toward the endowment or specific building projects.
As Portsmouth remains committed to its mission of helping young men and women grow in knowledge and grace, the community understands the need for many different types of resources to aid in this process.
