The Portsmouth Abbey School Annual Fund was established to provide unrestricted support for current operations. Currently, the Annual Fund contributes approximately 8% of the School's operating budget. The stronger the Annual Fund, the better equipped the school is to provide a superior educational environment for our students. Annual Fund gifts have a direct impact on the everyday lives of students and are used in a variety of ways: providing financial aid, increased funding for student activities, additional medical services, state of the art technology, support for athletic programs, and much more.
Building on the success of the 2010-2011 Annual Fund, our record breaking number of gifts due to the generosity of a great number of alumni, parents, friends, and under the leadership of Annual Fund Chairman, Tom Anderson '73, this year's campaign goal is set at $1,225,000.
Annual Fund Giving Societies
During the 2010-2011 fiscal year 277 constituents gave leadership gifts of $1,000 or more to the Annual Fund. These 277 Leadership Donors represented 18% of all donors, but their combined gifts of $917,166 represented 83% of the Annual Fund total.
As a way to recognize your generosity to the school the following seven giving societies have been created. Become a member of one today!
