Jimmy Buckley '08 has been named Athlete of the Week for his outstanding swimming performance in last week's contest against St. George's, held on February 20 at Roger Williams University. 

Jimmy won two of the five individual events in which Abbey swimmers placed first, capturing the 50-meter Freestyle event with a time of 24.38 and the 100-meter Freestyle in a time of 53.13.

In spite of the stellar efforts of Jimmy and his fellow Ravens, the Abbey came up short on the final tally, 105-65. 

Jimmy, a co-captain of the Swim Team, has led the Ravens to a 9-8-1 record this season and has consistently turned in strong performances.
