2011 Boys' Soccer Team Finishes Stellar Season with Trip to New England Championships:  The boys' varsity soccer team gave the Portsmouth Abbey community plenty to cheer about this fall, with a first-ever trip to the New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class C Championship Soccer Tournament that capped an outstanding season.  The Ravens captured their first EIL title and finished with a 15-2-3 record, garnering the most wins in Portsmouth Abbey boys' soccer history dating back to 1947.

Seeded third among eight teams in the NEPSAC Tournament, the Ravens had bested Tilton School (New Hampshire), 3-2, in a quarterfinal elimination match before taking on perennial powerhouse Millbrook School (New York) in the semifinals.  Feeling the absence of team sparkplug Fergus O'Farrell '12 and league-leading scorer David Armenta '12, and losing Sean Quinn to injury part-way through the match, the Abbey succumbed to eventual champion Millbrook, 4-1.

Congratulations to Coach Smith, Coach Sirois and each team member on a great season!
