Eligibility for Portsmouth Abbey School grants and loans is based on financial need, academic merit and availability of financial aid funds. These funds are derived from income generated by gifts and bequests made specifically for this purpose, as well from the operating income. This year, 35% of our students were awarded over $2,700,000 in some form of financial aid.

To ensure time to process all of the information necessary to evaluate a family's financial situation before the admissions decision notification deadline of March 10, you must submit your application for financial assistance by January 31.

Dates/Deadlines for Financial Aid:
January 31 - Photocopy of PFS to be submitted to Portsmouth Abbey School along with W-2, 1040 Federal Income Tax Form to follow upon completion.
March 10 - Financial Aid letters are sent along with decision letters.
