The Portsmouth Abbey School Annual Fund was established to provide unrestricted support for current operations. Currently, the Annual Fund contributes approximately 9% of the School's operating budget. The stronger the Annual Fund, the better equipped the school is to provide a superior educational environment for our students. Annual Fund gifts have a direct impact on the everyday lives of students and are used in a variety of ways: providing financial aid, increased funding for student activities, additional medical services, state of the art technology, support for athletic programs, and much more.
Building on the tremendous success of the 2006-2007 Annual Fund, the generosity of a great number of alumni, parents, friends, and under the leadership of Annual Fund Chairman, John Phelan '80 this year's campaign goal is set at $1,300,000.
Annual Fund Giving Societies
During the 2006-2007 fiscal year 294 constituents gave leadership gifts of $1,000 or more to the Annual Fund. These 294 Leadership Donors represented 22% of all donors, but their combined gifts of $959,944 represented 81% of the Annual Fund total.
