This year 354 boys and girls from around our country and world are contributing their unique talents to our community. The goal of Portsmouth Abbey School is to offer an education based on Christian ideals that is rigorous and demanding in academic content and presents a clear opportunity for religious education and spiritual growth. As a Catholic school in the Benedictine tradition, Portsmouth Abbey School believes that the cultivation of the mind, spirit and body achieves its formation in a community setting.

We feel that Portsmouth Abbey School is quite unique among boarding schools. Not only do we offer a challenging college preparatory program, talented faculty, a beautiful campus and fine facilities, but also a caring and supportive community in which to live and learn.
