Ryan Andrews '09 and Brendan Hammatt '09 participated in the U-16 Tier II National Hockey Championships in Buffalo, NY, in early April.  Their Rhode Island Saints team was tantalizingly close to victory before falling short.  They went 2-1 in the preliminary round against teams from Georgia, Nebraska, and Texas before losing to the eventual national champions from Michigan in overtime in the quarterfinals.  Hammatt gave up only one goal in a victory in his only start of the tournament, while Andrews, a right wing, contributed five points in the four games.
