The Confraternity of Pentinents will sponsor a Lenten Day of Recollection on Saturday, March 8, from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Portsmouth Abbey.  Father John of the Trinity, a Carmelite hermit from New Bedford, will be the presenter.  The day will include Mass at 9:00 a.m., two conferences, prayer, confessions, Stations of the Cross, and Eucharistic Adoration.

All are welcome to attend.  A free-will offering will be taken.  Those attending may bring a bag lunch or, for an advance reservtion of $5.95, a buffet lunch will be available.  To register for the lunch, call (401) 849-5421 or email bspenance@hotmail.com
