Become a '2004 Life' Senior!
Any student who gives blood three times between September 1, 2003, and June 18, 2004, will receive a special recognition to commemorate their contribution to their community.

We are always looking for volunteers.  If you are interested in volunteering at the Rhode Island Blood Center, contact Rachel Hare at 453-8378. Be an everyday heroŠdonate blood.

Before Donating
Eat a meal or snack
Drink plenty of fluid
Make sure you don¹t have any cold or flu symptoms
Weigh at least 110 pounds and be 17 years or older
Be in overall good health

After Donating
Leave bandage on for at least 4 hours
Drink plenty of fluids for the next 24 hours
Refrain from smoking and alcoholic beverages until after eating a meal
Avoid strenuous activities
