After a fall postponement, the 20th Annual Headmaster's Run took place on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. The typically cool-weather event, which began at the track, was run under sunny skies with summer-like temperatures. Our students and faculty ran or walked the course, which wound around the baseball field towards the Bay, past the lacrosse and field hockey turf, back up to the gazebo and ended on the football field.
Margot Appleton ’21, who was recently named the fastest girl in Rhode Island state history by Emerging Elites, and whose1500m time is the 2nd fastest in the US this year, crossed the finish line well ahead of the pack with a time of 8:36, followed by our first male student winner, Peyton Foley '21. Mr. Green '11 and Mrs. McCarthy were victorious as the first male and female faculty.
