An Annual Tradition Returns to November

After a rescheduled run due to COVID-19 last year, the annual tradition was back at its usual November spot to signify the end of Fall Term and the beginning of exam week.  Students donned their House colors and flags and gathered at the Carlos X. Araujo ‘96 Memorial Outdoor Track, ready to run, walk, or cheer on their peers for the race around the perimeter of the campus.  Faculty and staff and even some dogs joined in the fun too!

Acting Headmaster Mr. Matthew Walter sounded the horn and the runners were off, and in less than ten short minutes, the winners had already crossed the finish line.

Will Walhberg ‘22 created the winning design for the official T-shirt, which was passed out along with cookies and hot chocolate after the run was finished. It was a joyous afternoon and a great way to alleviate stress before exams began.
