International Student Leaders Adapt to New Normal

As with everything else this school year our international student leaders have had to adapt to the changes that COVID has brought on. The roles of these leaders are as important as ever as we begin our 2020-21 school year at the Abbey.

The normal roles for international student leaders revolve around a special orientation program for new families as well as planning and hosting several events throughout the year. These events help to celebrate the many cultures found on the Portsmouth Abbey campus. While we had a different look to the start of the year, the leaders will continue to help new international students acclimate to the school. They will work to have events that can be done within the guidelines for gatherings. We want the community to learn about each other, thus growing in knowledge about our community and our world. PS – please notice the new flags of two countries hanging in the Stillman Dining Hall: Ghana and Hungary.
