Mr. Christopher Fisher Delivers Lecture at University of Notre Dame
Fall Conference: Notre Dame

Executive Director of the Portsmouth Institute for Faith & Culture and Director of Humanities Mr. Christopher Fisher was asked to speak at the University of Notre Dame Center for Ethics and Culture’s Fall Conference.

According to Notre Dame's website, the Center for Ethics and Culture's Fall Conference is the most important academic forum for fruitful discourse and exchange among the world’s leading Catholic thinkers and those from other traditions. The Conference was on the topic “Higher Powers,” and Mr. Fisher's paper was on “A True ‘Benedict Option’: The 10th Century English Benedictine Reform and the Poetic Kingdom of Edgar the Peaceful."

Mr. Fisher presented on a panel alongside bestselling author Rod Dreher, whose book, The Benedict Option, was called "the most discussed and most important religious book of the decade" by David Brooks. Congratulations to Mr. Fisher on this great achievement!
