Congratulations to Nick Vallone '18 who was recently acknowledged as part of the New England Prep School All-Decade Team for the 2010s. Nick was a four-year starter at the Abbey, a two-time All-EIL selection, and a team captain on the 2018 EIL Championship team. He was a terrific outfielder who hit .364 his senior year, leading the team in hits, doubles, triples and slugging. Nick, however, earned most of his accolades as a pitcher:

Career Pitching stats: 16-6 record; 2.12

ERA; 1.17 WHIP. Walked 22 hitters in 131 2/3 innings.

Senior Year: 7-1 record; 1.18 ERA; 0.94 WHIP; walked 5 hitters in 41 2/3 innings. That's correct... he earned more wins than he had walks allowed. That is an absurd statistic! Nick is currently a junior at Brown University.
