In September 2019, the Board of Regents decided to undertake a review and regeneration of the School’s mission statement prior to our next accreditation in 2025 with the hope of standing the school in good stead for the next generation. The School's previous statement was formulated by the Regents in 2003, frequently revisited, and served us well for nearly two decades. At their meeting on December 4, 2020, the Board of Regents approved the School's new Mission Statement. The new document features a shortened Mission Statement followed by a Vision Statement intended to bring the main lines of the mission to life. We feature it below, and you can look forward to an article in our Summer Bulletin reviewing the process and rationale for the new approach. For now, you can see that our core mission, though newly articulated, remains the same: helping students grow in knowledge and grace.
