Volleyball Competes in NEPSAC Semifinals November 19

Portsmouth Abbey School’s varsity volleyball team will play in the New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) semifinals on Saturday, November 19 at 2:30 p.m. against Miss Hall’s School.

A live stream of the competition between the Ravens and Hurricanes will be available on Instagram Live via the Raven athletics profile (@ pabbeyathletics) or through the NFHS network at https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/

The 2022 Raven team is led by senior captains Merritt Coward and Sarah Edwards, who have continued to share the mentality of hard work, having fun and developing character initially created by the inaugural team five years ago. Since joining the Eastern Independent League in 2017, Coaches John Huynh and Scott Wilson have guided the Raven program through one year of club status (no matches), a one-win season, a season being one win below .500, and a COVID-19 season (no matches). In 2019, the team earned the New England Sportsmanship Award. This award was a testament to the grace, class, and poise of our Raven athletes.

Portsmouth Abbey Volleyball is proud to be a member of the Eastern Independent League (EIL). EIL member schools include Bancroft School, Beaver Country Day, Berwick Academy, Concord Academy, Dana Hall School, Landmark School, Lexington Christian, Newton Country Day, Pingree School, and the Winsor School.
