Form III October 2021
Hello Third Form Parents!
It’s hard to believe that it’s been a full month since our children started school! We hope that your students are starting to settle into a routine and figuring out how to manage being social, keeping up with school work and athletics. It’s a challenge that our son is continuing to struggle with at times!
We’re looking forward to Parents’ Weekend! We’re excited (maybe a little nervous) to hear what our son’s teachers will have to say at Parent Teacher Conferences, and very much looking forward to meeting other parents and families Thursday evening and at lunch on Saturday!
For the seventh year in a row, we are celebrating the important role parent philanthropy plays at Portsmouth Abbey with Parent Participation Month (October 15- November 15). During Parent Participation Month, parents have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on their child’s experience by supporting the Annual Fund. The Annual Fund directly supports all of things that make an Abbey education so unique and special –
The Annual Fund accounts for just over the 10% of the School’s operating budget allowing us to deliver the exceptional educational experience that can only be found on Cory’s Lane. Our goal is to reach 100% parent participation!
As alumni we have donated to the Annual Fund for years, but our donation this year takes on a whole new meaning as parents! We were aware of how important our donation is to the School but knowing that Annual Fund gifts are now directly helping our son and your children makes it all that much more significant! So, we ask, that you please join us in supporting the Annual Fund during Parent Participation Month by making a pledge or gift here!
Hope to see you this weekend!
