Dear Form IV Families,
We were so thrilled to see and meet many of you throughout Parents’ Weekend. It was an extraordinary event, and we enjoyed attending classes and teacher conferences, gaining a firsthand view of our talented and dedicated faculty and what it means to grow in knowledge and grace, and attending sporting events, performances and Mass.
It is hard to believe that we are in the final stretch of the Fall Term as we head into exam week. The month of November finds us at a moment of gratitude. We are so grateful to our monastic community, faculty, administrators, coaches and staff.
We are also grateful to our families for the direct support of the student experience through their generous support of the Annual Fund during Parent Participation month from Oct 15th to November 15th. Thank you to all of you who have supported the Annual Fund to date. For those of you who have not yet had the opportunity to give, please help us reach our goal of 100% parent participation overall and 60% participation by November 15th by making your gift online here or through Venmo @PortsmouthAbbey (other ways to make a gift can be found here). Thanks to the generous contributions to-date, we are currently at 56% overall participation, and striking distance of reaching our goal and unlocking the $20,000 Parents’ Association Leadership challenge. Thank you and well done!
As the end of the Fall term and preparation for exams approaches, do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
Lastly, we look forward to celebrating the joy of the Thanksgiving holiday and wish safe travels to our students as they depart for their well-deserved break.
