Dear Form VI Families,

 

What A Difference A Year Makes!!!

 

Happy November everyone! It was amazing to see all who were able to attend Parents’ Weekend. We felt very nostalgic as we walked through campus and especially talking to Michael's teachers at conferences. It was wonderful seeing the hustle and bustle of the Abbey. We were incredibly stunned to see how much these children have grown, barely recognizing several students as they had changed into adults! We personally would like to thank the staff for the fabulous weekend. Incredible amounts of work go into Parents’ Weekend, and it was spectacular.

As we are coming to the end of the last first term for our students, it will not be long before we have them home for Thanksgiving. Many students will have all their college applications in and be able to focus on their studies and enjoy their final year. It is still very hard for us to believe but remain grateful for the opportunities the Abbey provided for our children.

November 15^th is the final date to get your donations into the Annual Fund to unlock the $20,000 challenge for Parent Participation Month. It was wonderful speaking to you all on the phone last week. We both enjoyed hearing how well everyone is coming together and what great friendships they have solidified over the years. If you have not yet had the opportunity to do so, please join us in making a gift here or Venmo your gift to @PortsmouthAbbey. Supporting the Annual Fund is one of the best ways to provide gratitude for the educational experience your student has received.

We hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving, and a special thank you to those who were able to take home a student who was unable to get back to their own family this break.
