When can I return to campus to pack my room?
Rhode Island residents are now eligible to return to campus to collect items. All out-of-state families who are not under stay-at-home orders may return to campus beginning June 1 Please contact Mrs. Paula Walter at pwalter@portsmouthabbey.org to make an appointment. Students and families who are unable to return or who would rather not return will work with Mrs. Walter to have items packed and stored or shipped.
May I ask a day student family to pack up my belongings for storage?
We would prefer that student and families collect their own belongings but we are happy to work with you to make arrangements that make this process as easy as possible.
I’m a day student and have items in my locker in the dorm, when can I come and get my belongings?
Please contact Mrs. Paula Walter at pwalter@portsmouthabbey.org to make an appointment.
I have Abbey property that I need to return (i.e. athletic equipment, cameras, library books, etc.), how and when will I return these items?
No fees or fines will be imposed for Abbey property that has not been returned. Bins are available in each dorm common room so that students may return those items when they are eligible to return to campus. Mrs. Walter will assist families who are unable to return to campus with these items.
School rules and the Honor Code apply to all Abbey students, whether on or off campus. Please refer to the Student Handbook and contact Mr. Chenoweth at cchenoweth@portsmouthabbey.org with questions.
Can day students use any facilities?
