I graduated from Portsmouth Abbey School in 1996 and graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in history from Colby College in 2000. Soon after I began my career in independent schools at The Webb School in Tennessee as a member of the Admissions Office, a dorm parent, and lacrosse coach. In 2004 I returned home to Rhode Island and to the Abbey to work in the Admissions Office and serve as the Director of Financial Aid. While at the Abbey I have taught various courses in the History Department, coached lacrosse, and been a houseparent in St. Martin’s House. In 2015, I completed my M.Ed.in Independent School Leadership at Vanderbilt University. I live on campus with my wife, Beth, and my children, Ben and Emily.

B.S., Biology, Salve Regina University
Phone: (401) 643-1382
As a member of Portsmouth Abbey’s Class of 2010 I was thrilled to be hired in the Office of Admission after I graduated from Salve Regina University in May of 2014. While I was a student at the Abbey I loved giving tours to prospective students and their families. As a Sixth Former I was a head of the Red Key Society, which gave me some insight into different aspects of the admission process. It is my hope that my unique and personal perspective as an alumna of the Abbey will help future students. In addition to being an Assistant Director of Admission and Director of Admissions Marketing, I live in Manor House as an Assistant Houseparent with my Boston Terrier named Penny and I am an Assistant Track & Field coach. I am delighted to be a part of such a great community.
B.A., American Studies, Bard College
Phone: (401) 643-1238
I graduated from Avon Old Farms School in 2011 and then attended Bard College where I graduated with a degree in American Studies. At Bard, I played on the men’s lacrosse team and served as a captain for three seasons in addition to serving as the president of the college’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee during my senior year. After graduation I worked for Harlem Lacrosse, a non-profit lacrosse program serving at-risk and under-served middle school students, at a school in Boston. I grew up on the campus of Cardigan Mountain School, so I am very excited to get back into a boarding school community here at Portsmouth Abbey. At the Abbey, in addition to my role as Assistant Director of Admission, I will be coaching hockey and lacrosse and living in St. Aelred’s House as an assistant house parent with my dog named Goose.
