Parent Participation Month: October 15-November 15, 2021
For the seventh year in a row, we are celebrating the important role parent philanthropy plays at Portsmouth Abbey during Parent Participation Month (October 15 – November 15). Please consider making a gift or pledge to the Annual Fund between now and November 15 to help us each our goal of 100% parent participation.
Your contribution goes directly to funding necessities and therefore, makes a direct impact on student lives each and every day. The School's financial strength is dependent upon the participation of all members of its community. A first-class Abbey education is the direct result of gifts from parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty and friends who believe in and financially support excellence in education. Income from the Annual Fund, the endowment and auxiliary programs can bridge the gap between tuition income and the operating budget. Your participation generates enthusiasm and encourages others to join you in supporting the Abbey.
Furthermore, foundations and corporations awarding grants to educational institutions often look at the level of parent and community participation in the School's Annual Fund as a key factor in determining which institutions will receive the grants.
