Centennial Bookmark Contest

Congratulations to Lily Servidea '27, whose first-place bookmark (slide 1) design beautifully captures the spirit of our School’s Centennial! Set against a lovely palette of complementary sunset colors, Lily’s design features the Centennial logo alongside a meaningful tribute to our School’s rich history: the campus gazebo.Since the purchase of the land in 1918, the gazebo has been a cherished part of our campus. It also served as the backdrop for the iconic photograph of the first group of students arriving for classes in September 1926. What a fitting way to celebrate this milestone year! Lily’s winning design thoughtfully connects our School’s past and present, honoring the traditions that have shaped our community while celebrating 100 years of learning, growth, and memories.

The 2nd place bookmark (slide 2) was created by JJ Servidea '27. The Church of St. Gregory the Great, designed by architect Pietro Belluschi, is one of our campus’s most iconic landmarks. Dedicated in 1960, the church has been a special place of worship for students and community members for over 65 years. JJ’s beautiful design captures the church on a winter day, with snow-covered rooftops and surrounding greenery creating a picture-perfect scene. We love how JJ captured the charm and beauty of this beloved campus landmark, showing just how special it is in every season!

This year, we’re excited to celebrate Win Xu '27 as the recipient of the Most Creative Design Award! Using Procreate, Win brought her artistic vision to life with a stunning stained-glass effect and a beautifully stylized logo. Her design (slide 3) is full of creativity and personality, showcasing her artistic talent and impressive eye for detail. We love the unique approach she took and the creativity she brought to this project. Congratulations to Win on this well-deserved recognition!
